One of the most important documents in PCB assembly is the BOM (bill of materials). The BOM contains a list of the  components used and their placement on the printed circuit board design. The document allows Vinatronic’s procurement specialists to identify the approved distributors of PCB components and materials, as well as see which distributor has the most cost-effective pricing. If parts or materials on the BOM are unavailable at the time the PCB assembly order is required, Vinatronic procurement staff will locate alternative distributors or crosses. Our procurement team will then send the replacement parts or distributors to its customer for approval prior to their use in production. Having the wrong information on your BOM could result in delays, wrong component procurement, or worse, failures in the field. Download our sample BOM to start your project off on the right foot!
